What will happen if we take all of Ambani's wealth and give it to poor Indians?

It looks you are talking about the idea of equality, but the things which looks appealing by redistribution of wealth may not generate fruitful result. As :
  • Shares in Stock exchange will fall suddenly even with such rumours.
  • It will lower the entrepreneurship in Indian youth.
  • MNCs will runaway from India.
  • FDI in all sectors will fall.
  • It will cause setback to Indian GDP as majority of Tax contribution comes from corporate sector.
  • Innovation, scientific research will be lowered.
  • Mass unemployment.
  • Rise in Inflation rate.
  • Banking sector will doom.
  • Other big Industries or corporates like Tata’s, Birla’s, Mahendra’s may packup there business from India.
  • Larges section of County may become again agrarian only.
  • International image of India will be lowered and Credit rating agencies will give poor rating, our ranking in ease of doing business may fall which is still not that good.
  • Redistribution means less investment to other sectors like education, power generation, medical etc. which is again harmful.
  • Meritocracy of people may get reduce.
  • World bank, IMF may treat India as only socialist nation and can create roadblocks in terms of loans for development.
If we analyse carefully it's not only against the market principles but also against principle of governance in a developing economy. If amabni’s are generating wealth then they are also Paying Tax, contributing CSR and playing major role in India's development.
If only consideration is about to make everyone with equal Income then other factors can be considered.
  • Progressive Tax structure.
  • Raise CSR contribution.
  • Universal basic Income.
  • Increase social sector schemes by Government.
  • Reduce corruption, increase transparency and provide Good governance to citizens.
Therefore Redistribution of wealth is not possible in this context and it's a vague concept.

How was your civil services preliminary exam 2018?

  It was fantastic.
This time UPSC has prepared a balanced paper. It was both current affairs and static part. However this year current affairs was much less than last year.
UPSC is renowned for its unpredictableness. Last year it was full of current affairs. Lot of sincere candidates who were preparing from many years could not qualify prelims.
This time UPSC has provided a analytical paper. One need to think and analyse carefully over lot of questions. Even one word questions were not directly answerable. This made the difficulty level too high.
Many Newspaper including The Hindu and Indian expressUPSC Civil Services prelims 2018: Paper difficult than last year, fewer questions from current affair termed this year prelims as toughest paper after years.
My experience with exam was awesome. Very few direct questions and lot of analytical questions improved my score. By this UPSC has again proved people preparing for civil services need to be prepare for worst surprises
Overall a good one by UPSC after years.

What is the most basic level to start preparing for the UPSC Civil Services Exam

As you have asked the basic level, i would first recommend you to go through the upsc syllabus first, then if you are comfortable with the syllabus then prepare your mind for this big task.
as you have asked this question ,i think you are now planning to take up this exam.if you are a beginner then i would recommend you to read some good novels or some intresting topics for atleast 1–2 months, then start with some boring novels or topics for a month ,this is required because you need to have continuos reading habbit you should not stop or get boared of reading .since upsc also contains some boring subjects to study soo you should not break at any momment(if you are a good reader then you can skip this part).
after all this the most important thing is to prepare a study plan, first start with ncert from 6th to 10th.go through the history , geography , economics& polity part .read those subjects for 3–5 times understand the basic concepts n make the notes .another important thing is you need to revise these subjects frequently n never go out of the plan , stick to your timetable firmly.
then comes the ncert 11 & 12 , here also do the same thing but here you do with some precision.
after completing all these then you go with core books which you can select by watching some videos or from articles of reputated institutions or through some good websites, here you need to do the things with most precision n here there are lot of things to work on ……. n here your optionals will also come to play
in all these stages you should not stop reading newspaper n the most important thing is that you should not break down …
all the best….
if there are any questions, suggestions or comments you are most welcomed n thanks for asking hope it have helped you
